Hi all, I want to know if any of you have a Lazer Voicemail box. I know that a couple of you do. I have a Lazer Voicemail box. My Lazer Voicemail number is 206-312-7106.
Many people use the Lazer system for radio shows and stuff like that. They can do that because the system can record for up to, I think 45 minutes. (somebody please tell me if I'm wrong about that)
For those of you who don't have a Lazer box and want one, the number to sign up is 206-376-5000.

Can anyone explain a bit more of laser voice mail?
Is it free or do you pay? What software do you need for it?
Thanks

You do not need any software for Lazer Voicemail. It is over the phone.
Lazer Voicemail is free. Just call 206-376-5000 and follow the instructions to sign up.

So is it a survice in the USA? If it is users from other countries i don't think they can call or even if they could it wouldn't be free anyway.

I have a k7 voicemail box; the number is (206)984-3250. To sign up for a box, visit The k7 signup page. You can retrieve your k7 messages either by visiting the web site or by having them delivered to an email address of your choosing.

Cheers,

-Dave

If any of you have a Lazer box, I want to warn you that there is some company that calls Lazer Voicemail numbers, at least they call mine. I'm not sure if they call each Lazer box or not.
About every couple of days, I get a message from a lady named Miss White. She claims that its not a sales or telemarketing call and then she gives a number for her company.
If any of you Lazer Voicemail users get a message like that just ignore it.

Also a word to anyone wanting to set up a lazer box for yourself, there's no customer service at all, so make sure to save your box number somewhere you can access it, because once it's gone, it's gone. My lazer number is 206-600-1914, and I also use that as a place for people to send me requests for my broadcasts I do on www.kool360.com, and I do check that box regularly.

I actually used to have a couple of Laser boxes but they're long gone. One was a personal box and the other was a little sporadic radio show I did called the "Listener Alienation Line" where I'd rant about this or that or I might play some unusual recordings and stuff. I am considering continuing that tradition in podcast form.
